Our Activities
Jump Start is a vocational specialist and offers a selection of positive activities to engage young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Since Jump Start believes in students growing, developing and bonding outside of the classroom, there are a variety of activities available for all types of interests. Take a look below to learn more.

Sports activities
Activities based on wellbeing, self-esteem and confidence building.
At Jumpstart we use a collection of local facilities such as leisure centres, parks and private sports facilities. We are also connected to a number of community based angling groups and other clubs.

Vocational courses
Construction, sports, horticultural and
motor vehicle courses
Our vocational suite of courses is part of a number of qualifications designed to enable students to develop a portfolio of work to support our students to enter training, further education and employment. Our focus is to support our students to enter the world of work.

Volunteering
Community based engagement
Through community involvement with local charities and local council facilities our students are supporting the community we are part of. Our contribution is done through the volunteer section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, the Sports Leadership Qualification, Arts Awards and Jass Awards.
